Brooke Hogan shares her real thoughts on Hulk Hogan after her father's passing.

Brooke Hogan spoke out for the first time on Monday following the passing of her father, iconic wrestler Hulk Hogan, who died last Thursday.

In a heartfelt Instagram message, Brooke sought to clarify the “complex” media narrative surrounding her father.

“My father’s blood runs through my veins. His spirit lives on through my children, and our connection remains unbroken, even in his last moments,” Brooke expressed.

“…We never had a ‘big battle.’ My father and I never ‘fighted.’ It was a series of private conversations—both mental and in business. I believed he was reaching out to me during these times,” she continued.

The 37-year-old mentioned that she and her husband, Stephen Oleski, relocated to Florida to be closer to Hogan as his health declined. They underwent 25 surgeries together until, unexpectedly, he refused any further procedures.

“Everything started to feel shrouded,” Brooke reflected. “There seemed to be an invisible barrier around him that I couldn’t penetrate.”

She also revealed that she distanced herself from her father two years before his death to “protect my heart,” although Hogan was aware of the deep love they shared.

In September 2023, she opted against attending Hogan’s wedding to his third wife, Sky Daly. They allegedly had a final discussion just two weeks prior to the wedding.

Hogan, born Terry Borea, passed away on July 24th at the age of 71.

He shared Brooke and her brother Nick, 34, with his ex-wife, Linda Hogan. The couple was married from 1983 until 2009.

Linda made her first public comment on Monday since Hulk’s passing, expressing her profound grief.

“I’ve been crying all day. The finality of it all is shocking. We spent so many years together. He was 28, and I was 22 when we met. I still love him,” Linda wrote on Instagram. “I haven’t spoken or seen him—it was Nick who did. Nick taught me things, just as I taught him. We were still a family, despite everything.”

Hogan was previously married to Jennifer McDaniel from 2010 to 2022.
