Brooke Rollins Highlights the Truth About Unjust Trade Practices

Agriculture Secretary Brook Rollins highlighted the issue of unfair trade practices and discussed why President Donald Trump sought to address these problems during a recent policy event with Breitbart News.

While talking about the trade agreement with the UK, Rollins expressed optimism about achieving a “balanced” situation.

“This is a fact. On average, tariffs on American goods around the world are significantly higher—perhaps around 15 or 16 percent, compared to what we face,” she noted.

“In the U.S., it’s only 5%. My math might be off, but that suggests a threefold disparity between what we’re charging and what others do,” she clarified.

Rollins emphasized that American agriculture and our farmers are exceptionally innovative and productive, explaining how these agreements will be beneficial.

“It’s just another day in Washington, and those who gain the most are usually not you or me. I’m a single mother from Detroit, Michigan, and I can’t afford to have it both ways,” she reflected.

“We’re working towards realizing the American Dream, which includes supporting families, improving education, and ensuring safer communities,” she added.

Rollins concluded by suggesting that this approach marks a shift from the previous administration’s strategies, which she believes makes a significant difference.
