Brook Shields once put former President George H.W. Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush in their bedrooms, believing their homes were flooded.
On Thursday, the Shields co-hosted with the couple's granddaughter, Jenna Bush Hager, “Today with Jenna and her friends,” explaining a moment of repentance at the elderly couple's home in Kennebunkport, Maine.
About 15 years ago, Bushi invited Shield to stay at home after first forming a “sweet” friendship in the 80s.

“I was doing movies in Boston and I call – I don't say who he is – literally, “I hear you're in this area. If you don't come to Kennebunkport, you're in trouble, you're in trouble, you're in trouble, young women, and of course, it was Papa Bush.”

So the Shields stuffed their daughters Rowan and Greer and headed for Walker's point compound.
After putting her daughter to bed, the trip was ongoing until Shields realized that the living room was “inundated” from the seawater.

“I'm in panic, right? And I'm thinking, 'Oh, my god, I have to tell someone, but no one's in the house!” ” she said.
“I was like, 'This was a moment of my life that was very special.' ”
The “Blue Lagoon” star knew he had to go to the bush bedroom to warn them before the damage began.
“So I'll go downstairs to the bedroom and bring my fear of God. [in me]”Seals explained.

“They had their little TV dinner, their little balkalonger, their little la-z-boys, and they were watching [‘Law and Order’] 'SVU. ' “
Shields joked that when she entered the bedroom, Barbara kept her eyes as she was “in the dressing gown.”
“And I just want to say, 'You might think the house was flooded, but I think I got it,'” she told Hager, still covering her eyes, remembering what had happened.

Barbara wasn't worried, claiming that Shield would sit between her chairs and end the TV episode.
“She says, 'George, maybe Brooke can answer this question… ask her, ask her,' he says, 'Well, who do you think it's?” Shields said.

The “cute baby” actress calmed down and enjoyed the rest of the night with the couple.

“I remembered, 'This was a moment in my life that was very special,” Shields said.
Hager thanked the Shields for telling us about his grandparents. The bushes died several months apart in 2018.
“I didn't have a grandfather and I was pretty young, so he [George] Giving me the boy's advice, “Okay, I like it. I don't like this, so it was a very sweet relationship that I had to have and there was no one else,” Shields said.
