Brooke Shields shared a heartwarming moment on Instagram, celebrating her daughter Rowan’s graduation from Wake Forest University.
In a post on Tuesday, the actress, 59, expressed her joy saying, “Look at the world, she’s here!! She did it!” She added, “I’m so proud of you, Rowan – our university graduate 🎓👩🎓❤️.”
Rowan, who is 22, donned her cap and gown, complemented by some quirky red sunglasses. The photos captured the excitement of the occasion.
The former model was seen enjoying the celebration alongside her husband, Chris Henchy, and their other daughter, Greer, who is 19.
Rowan looked radiant in a white dress, black cap, and gown, styled with yellow sashes and vibrant red sneakers. Shields also looked chic in a white sundress with black piping, paired with gold sandals and a sweet bouquet of pink flowers.
Greer sported a cream linen suit over a floral shirt, showcasing a unique sense of style at the family event. The whole family seemed to share in the joyous atmosphere, with Rowan excitedly waving her diploma.
Earlier, Rowan had taken to social media to reminisce about her college years, posting moments with friends and reflecting on memories made at school.
Shields and Rowan have a close bond, evident in their matching tattoos. They got inked together to commemorate Rowan’s high school graduation in 2021, with Shields sharing her pride for her daughter in an Instagram post at that time.
The family of women was observed popping champagne and throwing their graduation caps, all while wearing matching white dresses—an emblem of celebration for Rowan’s achievements.
Shields and Henchy have been married since 2001, and previously, Shields was married to Andre Agassi from 1997 to 1999. Their family moments reflect a close-knit relationship, celebrating milestones with affection and joy.
