Brooklyn Beckham is said to have given a heartfelt speech at his vow renewal ceremony with Nicola Peltz, which notably left his parents, Victoria and David Beckham, aside.
According to a source close to the couple, he spoke genuinely during the ceremony. “At the core of his heart is not only Nicola, whom he loves immensely, but also the Peltz family, who truly support him,” the insider mentioned.
Representatives for Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, who originally wed in 2022, didn’t respond immediately for comments.
Earlier this month, the couple renewed their vows at Nicola’s family home, inviting around 200 guests, as reported by various outlets. The source explained that Brooklyn wanted to celebrate the love and commitment they’ve cultivated over the years.
Victoria, 51, and David, 50, were not present at the ceremony; they were instead seen enjoying a yacht vacation in St. Tropez just days prior. Meanwhile, photos revealed Nicola celebrating with her family, including her parents and siblings.
“This day held immense significance for us,” Nicola conveyed on Instagram.
Brooklyn and Nicola have been involved in a rumored dispute with the rest of the Beckham family since May, coinciding with a perceived lack of attention from Brooklyn’s side at David’s 50th birthday party.
Supporters of the couple have commented on social media, with one, Rebecca Faria, expressing admiration for anyone who can distance themselves from toxic family situations. She noted that Nicola was among the first to assert her own worth amidst the family dynamics.
