Brooks Koepka started April in winning form.
On Sunday, the four-time major champion won a record $4 million prize at LIV Golf’s Orlando event. He celebrated his second victory at the Saudi Arabian-backed circuit with his wife Jena Sims, who sports his Illustrated Swimsuit Applicant.
“I’m so proud of you,” Sims spouted on Instagram Stories, “Continued next week.”
Koepka finished 15-under in the tournament, securing his second individual LIV Golf title since last year’s season finale in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
“He’s been playing really well the last few weeks.” Koepka, 32, saidis currently the first two-time winner of LIV Golf.
“We’re making silly mistakes that just don’t really show up on the scorecard. It’s nice to come out this week and play almost error-free.”
Koepka is now heading into Masters Week and hopes to secure a fifth major win in his career.
The Florida native won the PGA Championship in 2018 and 2019 and the US Open in 2017 and 2018.
Tie for 2nd at the 2019 Masters.
When Koepka returns to Augusta this week and LIV Golf will be competing in the Masters for the first time, Sims will be there to support him every step of the way.
The 34-year-old philanthropist, who married Koepka last summer, caddies golfers at the annual Masters par-3 event in April 2022.
It’s been an eventful few weeks for Koepka and Sims, who were among the top 24 finalists in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s annual SwimSearch last month.
Sims advanced to Round of 12 on monday.
She previously said that appearing in a Sports Illustrated swimsuit was her “biggest dream.”
Holding back tears, Sims said in a TikTok video in March, “I hope this is the beginning of a beautiful new chapter in my life.
“I am very grateful to be able to pursue my dreams.”
Perhaps this will be a week of celebration for both Koepka and Sims.
