Brown vs. Yale, Auburn vs. Florida odds

Hello, Rubberneckers.

Brown vs. Yale predictions

(12:00 p.m. ET)

I’ll remain loyal to the Bears because they’re one of the few teams that made it through this horrible slump. That’s not hard to do, seeing as Brown spent most of Saturday’s semifinals leading to a win over one of the best Ivy League teams in years (Princeton).

The Bears, seeking their first NCAA Tournament berth since 1986, look carefree and confident while playing for home money. They won seven straight games, including a road game at Yale eight days ago, and improved to 13-6 against the spread as an underdog.

choose: Brown +7.5

Auburn vs. Florida predictions

(1 p.m. ET)

The Gators’ worst loss of the season will be rewarded with Bruce Pearl’s second SEC Tournament win.

The Tigers won’t let their below-average defense fail again, shooting 17 percent from 3s, 56 percent from the line and committing an uncharacteristic 15 turnovers.

choose: Auburn -5.5

Duquesne vs Vcu Prediction

(1 p.m. ET)

It’s hard to root for the Dukes, who are one win away from making their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 1977 (fun fact: they clinched the Atlantic 10 championship with a win over Villanova).

Duquesne is 7-3 against the spread as an underdog, but is more than a sentimental championship favorite, posting a seven-game winning streak, including a 10-point road win over VCU, during which the Dukes have averaged opponents I’ve kept it below a point. 61 points per game.

choose: Duquesne +2.5

Wisconsin vs. Illinois predictions

(3:30 p.m. ET)

The Badgers have looked like a different team since losing by eight points to Illinois two weeks ago.

Illinois also won’t be able to rely on repeating its 56 percent shooting from deep against a Wisconsin defense that has held Big Ten Tournament opponents to 40 percent from the field.

choose: Wisconsin +3

UAB vs. Temple Prediction

(3:15 p.m. ET)

The Owls (16-19) will be looking for their fifth win in five days after entering the AAC Tournament without a fourth straight win this season.

Kemba Walker and UConn accomplished an incredible feat with a team that won a national championship. Temple is trying to do that with a squad that ranks 334th in the nation in true shooting percentage.

The Owls, who lost by 28 points to UAB earlier this month, are coming off an upset against Florida Atlantic in which they shot 50 percent from 3-point range for the second time in three games.

choose: UAB -6.5

This season: 5-14
