Browns fans tie the knot in an unforgettable parking lot celebration.

The concept of tailgating has evolved quite a bit over time.

Yet, it’s not every day that wedding ceremonies occur just before a soccer match, complete with the ambiance of beer and barbecue.

Recently, though, a couple of Browns fans decided to tie the knot at a tailgate outside Huntington Bank before their team’s matchup against the Bengals on Sunday.

Set in the parking lot, the ceremony included family, friends, and fellow supporters. Many attendees donned Browns jerseys and added team colors to their decorations.

The officiant also sported team apparel, and a small arch adorned with Browns pennants framed the couple as they exchanged vows.

A video of the wedding quickly made its rounds on social media before kickoff, capturing fans cheering and applauding as the couple completed their vows.

This wedding took place just a few hours ahead of the game, alongside typical tailgating festivities: grills fired up, music playing, and fans mingling.

After walking down the aisle, the bride and groom shared a special moment right before the Bengals’ kickoff. Although they were celebrating love, the game didn’t end in their favor.

Following their nuptials, the Browns faced a narrow defeat against the Bengals, with the final score at 17-16.

In a disappointing turn, kicker Andre Schmidt missed two significant attempts: both an extra point and a field goal that could have altered the game’s momentum.

Quarterback Joe Flacco managed to throw for 291 yards, marking one touchdown but also yielding two interceptions.

While the Browns now sit at 0-1 for the season, at least the newlyweds can celebrate a successful union, even if their team’s performance leaves much to be desired.
