Cleveland Browns fans made their team hear that during their 33-17 loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

The Cowboys ran up 260 yards of total offense in 60 plays, while the Browns ran up 230 yards of total offense in 70 plays. Each team had 15 first downs, but the Cowboys reached the end zone more times than the Browns.

Myles Garrett seemed shocked by the boos that rained down on Huntington Bank Field as he spent some time with fans in the Muni parking lot before the game, where they were waiting.

He told reporters it was only natural that fans filling the stadium would express their dissatisfaction with the team in that way.

“They have the right to express how they feel. I mean, if we don't play well, they have the right to boo. If we do well, they have the right to cheer,” he explained. “That's their prerogative. They pay to see us play and we didn't. If we expect them to cheer us on with all their might, we've got to perform better.”

“So we've got to be better. It's all on us.”

Garrett was named Defensive Player of the Year last season when he recorded two tackles, including a sack of Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott.

He expressed optimism about a bounce-back season next week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

“I can tell them all I want about our tenacity and our tenacity, but at the end of the day you have to go out and get a result,” he said. “The fans gave us what they expected throughout the game, so we've got to go out and perform better.”
