There are reports that Bryan Kohberger searched for images of female students on his phone. He faces first-degree murder charges related to the deaths of four students from the University of Idaho: Xana Kernodle, Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, and Ethan Chapin. Evidence suggests that he was looking for numerous photos of women, particularly at Washington State University and the University of Idaho, many of which featured them in swimsuits. Notably, some of these individuals were friends or acquaintances of the victims.
According to NBC’s “Dateline,” Kohberger’s internet history also shows he searched for “social pathological characteristics of university students” and, interestingly, “drugs” and “sleep” on a pornographic website in late 2022.
A selfie taken of Kohberger on December 28, 2022, surfaced, shortly before his arrest two days later. As the case unfolds, a judge recently rejected a request from the prosecution for a personality evaluation of Kohberger.
In terms of the timeline surrounding the November 13, 2022 incident, Kohberger returned home around 4 a.m., and in the subsequent minutes, multiple calls made by a surviving roommate to the victims went unanswered, indicating growing concern until the emergency services were finally called at noon that day.
Kohberger’s court proceedings are set to commence on August 11.
