Evangelist Bryce Crawford is responding to criticism regarding his interview with Vice President JD Vance. He expressed his openness to discussing Jesus with anyone, suggesting that those who disagree with his approach are welcome to unfollow him.
Crawford, a prominent figure on YouTube and social media, has gained millions of followers through his street evangelism videos focused on Christianity, particularly among younger audiences.
The 22-year-old boasts over 7 million followers across TikTok and Instagram combined, along with 1.1 million YouTube subscribers. He has interviewed notable figures, from Christian artist Forrest Frank to contentious hip-hop star Nicki Minaj.
His recent one-hour conversation with Vance, released on August 31, received backlash from some followers who accused him of diluting his message by providing a platform to the vice president.
Nevertheless, Crawford reiterated his stance, indicating that he is willing to have discussions about faith with anyone, regardless of their political beliefs, background, or personal circumstances.
“If you think someone isn’t worthy of a faith conversation due to their political affiliation, sexuality, race, financial status, or any characteristic, then feel free to unfollow me because that’s not the gospel I believe in,” Crawford stated in a video across his social media platforms.
He further elaborated that the gospel he preaches allows for all voices to be heard, and he is eager to engage with anyone willing to discuss their faith. He said, “If you’re drawing lines about who deserves a conversation about Jesus, then you might be missing out on God’s love, which is meant for everyone.”
Many of Crawford’s followers supported his message, with comments praising his commitment to inclusivity and sharing the belief that Jesus’s love is for all.
