Bryce Perkins of UFL makes an amazing play for a touchdown

Highlights from UFL Game Featuring Bryce Perkins

This past Sunday, Michigan Panthers quarterback Bryce Perkins engaged with fans during a United Football League match against the DC Defenders. Perkins, a former player for the Los Angeles Rams, returned to the field in the second quarter and faced considerable pressure from the opposing defense.

As he tried to execute a pass, it looked like he might get overwhelmed by the defenders, yet he managed to shake off two players. Sprinting to his right, he found tight end Cole Hiktini, securing a 35-yard touchdown that quickly made waves on social media.

In a post-game interview with ESPN, Perkins reflected on the moment: “Just get up and stay strong on your feet. When you extend the play, they’re able to cover for a long time. I was just trying to look downfield. They did a good job of creating separation for the receivers.”

A Closer Look at Perkins’ Journey

Before making his mark in the UFL, Perkins played for multiple colleges, including Arizona and Virginia, before joining the Rams in 2020. It’s worth noting that he was part of the team when they clinched the Super Bowl title in 2021.

In 2022, he made appearances in five NFL games, recording 161 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He transitioned to the Panthers in 2024, accumulating 343 yards and two touchdowns over four games.

At the time of this matchup, the Michigan Panthers were sitting at a 3-2 record, while the DC Defenders were ahead with a 4-1 record.
