Bryce Young from the Panthers expresses gratitude, stating 'All Glory Goes to God': 'Without Him, I'm Nothing'

Bryce Young’s Strong Faith Fuels Panthers’ Victory

The quarterback for the Carolina Panthers, Bryce Young, shared how his faith in God provides him strength.

In an exciting game on Sunday, Young completed 31 passes out of 45 attempts, accumulating a career-high of 448 yards and throwing three touchdowns. This performance was key in the Panthers’ narrow 30-27 overtime win against the Atlanta Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Panthers now hold a record of 6-5, having flipped their season around after a rough start that saw them at 0-2. They’re just behind Tampa Bay, which stands at 6-4. Young’s 54-yard drive in overtime was crucial in setting up the decisive kick.

After the game, Young expressed immense gratitude, stating, “I’m so grateful to be a Panther and to be a part of this team. We’re so resilient.” He emphasized his belief that all glory should go to God, saying, “Without Him, I’m nothing.” His faith plays a significant role in his life and career.

The Panthers have shown remarkable improvement, winning six out of their last nine matches. Although they faced a deficit of 21-10 at halftime, they managed to close the gap and were only trailing by two entering the fourth quarter. Thanks to a last-minute tying kick from Atlanta, the game went to overtime, placing pressure back on the Panthers.

Young reflected on his teammates’ tenacity, saying, “I’m just rallying around my teammates. We keep fighting. We’re always moving towards the next play.” His faith is a recurring theme in his interviews, often discussed since his time playing at Alabama and even after winning the Heisman Trophy in 2021.

In the postgame press conference, he stated, “God is good,” and although the Panthers are aiming for a playoff spot for the first time since 2017, he maintains focus on the week ahead. “I can’t think too far ahead,” he said. “Right now… [the win is] wonderful [but] tomorrow we will turn the page and focus on next week. I love this team. I’m ready to get back to work.”
