Trump to Attend Ryder Cup

President Donald Trump will be present on the opening day of the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black this weekend, generating excitement among Team USA members.

Golfers Scotty Schaeffler and Keegan Bradley expressed their enthusiasm about Trump’s participation at the venue, and Bryson DeChambeau, a co-star from YouTube, is also looking forward to it.

DeChambeau, a two-time US Open champion, believes Trump could bring some motivation to the team representing the United States.

“I hope he encourages us to win. I think he will be invaluable in rallying support on our side,” DeChambeau shared with reporters. “It’s fascinating to observe how everyone interacts with the crowd. The atmosphere will be electric.”

This marks the third sporting event Trump will attend this month, all happening in the New York metropolitan area. Previously, he was at the men’s US Open Finals on September 7 and watched the Yankees face the Tigers just a few days later.

DeChambeau highlighted an appearance of Trump in one of his “Breaking 50” videos from last year, right before a significant incident at a tournament in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile, some European Ryder Cup players have shown indifference to Trump’s presence, labeling him “just another audience.” When asked if he regretted collaborating with Trump on a video last year, DeChambeau dismissed the notion, stating, “There’s always a risk involved, but from my end, it was all about entertainment.” He noted that the focus was on delivering enjoyable content, separate from political discussions.

That collaboration, it seems, has resonated well, totaling over 16 million views on YouTube, making it DeChambeau’s most popular video.

Team USA’s captain Bradley mentioned that Trump was scheduled to be at the first tee at 7:10 AM ET.
