The conflict between LIV and PGA has reached a new level.
On Tuesday, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy faced off against Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka in a 2-on-2 matchup in Las Vegas.
The latter two defected from the PGA Tour to LIV about two-and-a-half years ago, and McIlroy has long lamented the players who did so until his recent conversion.

The four golfers are in Las Vegas for the PGA-LIV showdown, but now more trouble has arisen.
On the second hole, DeChambeau, the reigning U.S. Open champion, smashed a golf ball that traveled 324 yards.
Bubba Watson of the broadcast team said DeChambeau's drive hit Scheffler's father.
The event will be held at Shadow Creek Golf Club, the site of the first “The Match” between Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.

Ahead of the match, DeChambeau joked about McIlroy's choke job at the U.S. Open as the two shared the practice field.
McIlroy bogeyed three of his final four holes and missed two putts, both within 3 feet. DeChambeau made a legendary bunker save to gain the upper hand and win his second U.S. Open title.
“I want to play against Bryson and take back what he did to me at the US Open,” McIlroy admitted.
“Well, to be fair, you did it to yourself,” DeChambeau replied.
This tournament will feature a total of 13 major championship wins by four golfers: Koepka (five), McIlroy (four), Scheffler and DeChambeau (two each).
