Is Buckingham Palace overshadowing Meghan Markle?
Wednesday, Buckingham Palace Shop Instagram account shared a video The Duchess of Sussex has promoted Royal Strawberry Jam just days after announcing her own line of jams.
The video, set to the soothing sounds of Mozart, shows a woman’s hands spreading jam on scones, crumpets, croissants and toast.
“Our Strawberry Preserve is made using only the finest berries and is delicious in a variety of ways 🍓,” the caption reads. The store also asked its followers to share how they enjoy the jam in the comments.
Some royal followers couldn’t help but find the timing suspicious.
One fan wrote, “Am I the only one who likes subtle colors?😆😎🤠🇬🇧,” while another commented, “I’m dying to see the timing of this ad😂😂😂😂.”
Another woman revealed her allegiance, referring to the California area where Markle and Prince Harry, 39, currently live with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
“There’s always Buckingham Palace above Montecito,” said an Instagram user.
Last March, Markle, 42, announced her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, on social media.
An industry source told Page Six that the former working royal has been “working on this project for over a year, and it’s all things that are close to her heart and that she’s passionate about.” He said there is.
According to a trademark application obtained by Page Six, American Riviera Orchard sells a wide range of household goods, including staple tableware such as cutlery, table linens and drinkware, as well as edible items such as jellies, jams and spreads. It became clear that there were plans to do so. Cookbooks are also subject to filing.
The set also includes makeup, hair care, fragrance, and skin care.
Earlier this month, American Riviera Orchard debuted its first product, a jar of fresh jam.
