Burglars break into Brad Pitt's $5.5M home in LA

Brad Pitt’s home in the Ross Ferris area was recently targeted by thieves.

On Thursday, Page 6 reported that an investigation is underway following the burglary at the actor’s Los Angeles mansion, valued at $5.5 million.

A spokesperson from the LAPD indicated that the incident occurred around 10:30 PM on Wednesday, although they did not confirm the mansion’s owner.

Authorities noted that three individuals managed to enlarge the fence and break through a front window before escaping with a yet-to-be-determined number of items.

The actor was not at home during the break-in.

Currently, Pitt, 61, is busy promoting “F1,” having made appearances at several premieres in cities like London, Mexico City, and New York over the last few weeks.

He bought the property in April 2023 from Irene Getty, an oil heiress. In a notable trade, Getty purchased Pitt’s prior home in the area for a staggering $33 million.

The property, known as “Steelhouse,” is quite impressive, featuring solar panels, a large outdoor pool, and a sauna, all wrapped up in an L-shaped design.

Inside, it boasts three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with over 2,000 square feet of living space surrounded by lush greenery.

Interestingly, Pitt’s ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, is also a resident of the Los Ferris area, where she frequently sees their children.

In another incident unrelated to Pitt, his first ex-wife Jennifer Aniston experienced a scare when a man crashed his car through the gate of her $21 million mansion in Bel Air on May 5. A person identified as Jimmy Wayne Carweil was arrested for felony vandalism in connection with that event. Aniston was reportedly home at the time.
