Buster Mardo Ties the Knot with Brooklyn White
Buster Mardo, the oldest son of Alex Mardo, recently married his fiancée, Brooklyn White, during a stunning ceremony on May 3rd.
The couple exchanged vows at Cooso Point in Beaufort, South Carolina—a venue that used to serve as a private hunting sanctuary. This location holds a complicated history as Alex Mardo faced trial there for financial crimes after being convicted of murdering his son Paul and wife Maggie back in 2021.
Pictures shared on social media capture a picturesque event under a canvas tent, with a lovely view of the marshlands. The décor featured green and white hues, complemented by arrangements of blue and white hydrangeas.
Brouklyn wowed attendees in an elegant off-shoulder dress, and Buster looked sharp in a white jacket coupled with a black bow tie and dress pants, accented by a monogrammed belt.
The newlyweds celebrated with a simple yet elegant white four-tier cake adorned with floral accents.
Throughout the turbulence of Buster’s father’s recent murder trial, Brooklyn stood by his side, demonstrating unwavering support.
Interestingly, Alex Mardo, aged 56, is currently serving a life sentence for the tragic deaths of his wife and younger son, which occurred at a family hunting property in June 2021. The prosecution suggested that the murders aimed to divert attention from his escalating financial problems.
Buster has openly remarked about the trial’s fairness, expressing doubts and suggesting that it felt skewed from the outset. He emphasized the importance of recognizing multiple perspectives in such a high-profile case, noting that law enforcement seemed eager to resolve matters swiftly, especially given the media scrutiny surrounding it.
In interviews, Buster has also been reflective about his father’s character, acknowledging the complexities involved. Meanwhile, Alex Mardo has found himself facing multiple sentences for a range of financial crimes, including fraud, adding another layer to this already tumultuous family narrative.
