Buster Murdaugh weds his fiancée Brooklyn White in a South Carolina ceremony.

Buster Murdaugh, the son of convicted murderer Alex Murdaugh, recently married his longtime fiancée in an intimate, upscale wedding in South Carolina.

The couple exchanged vows at a former hunting venue in Beaufort, nestled within the Ridgee Riverside community on Cooso Island. This information was reported by various outlets.

Buster, 32, opted for a white tuxedo paired with black pants for the occasion, while his bride Brooklyn White donned a stylish shoulderless white gown accentuated with a black bow.

The ceremony unfolded outdoors, taking advantage of the beautiful, sunlit lawns surrounding the venue.

After the vows, they celebrated with their guests in a spacious tent adorned with vibrant blue and white floral arrangements and green tablecloths, as detailed by the Daily Mail.

While the total cost of the event remains undisclosed, it’s known that hosting 50 guests at Cooso Point typically runs around $26,000 for venue rental alone. The precise number of attendees wasn’t specified, but food and drink generally start at about $100 per person.

Buster and Brooklyn had applied for their marriage license in South Carolina back in April, according to court documents.

Brooklyn has since adopted the surname Murdaugh on social media.

Interestingly, they kept many details about their wedding under wraps until the day itself. They also created three registries where guests could contribute to their “House Project Fund,” allowing for gifts of upscale items like a $365 Blackstone Griddle or a $1,000 Dyson Robot Vacuum Cleaner.

While it’s not clear how long the couple has been together, it’s believed they met during their studies at the University of South Carolina Law School.

Brooklyn was by Buster’s side when his father delivered the news about the tragic murders that captured national attention.

Last year, Alex Murdaugh was sentenced to two life terms for the murders of his wife and son, Maggie and Paul Murdaugh, a case that deeply affected the family.

Brooklyn hails from Rock Hill, South Carolina, but moved to Alabama in 2014 for school. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of Alabama and pursued a Juris Doctorate at the University of South Carolina Law School from 2018 to 2021.

Since graduating, she began her career at a law firm based in Hilton Head.

Buster has maintained a low profile, especially following the horrific events surrounding his family’s tragedy.

Brooklyn was seen providing emotional support to Buster during his father’s murder trial earlier this year.
