Buttigieg mulling Senate bid after nixing play for Michigan governor

Former U.S. Transportation Pete Battigeg is said to be considering bidding at the Senate following the decision of the Senator Gary Peter's (D-Mich), who does not seek re-election.

Buttigieg confirmed that he was “very seriously focused on the bidding to the Senate seats.” Detroit news

“I think Pete is a person encouraging many people to run,” said Senator Debbie Stabeno (D-Mich).

When Peters, a senior member of the state, said that he would not request re -election in 2026, speculation of Battigy's political ambition came.

Some others seem to be interested in the race.

Hailry Stevens (D-Mich.) And Hillary Cholten (D-Mich), former governor ABDUL EL-SAYED, Garlin Gilklist II, and Senator Mallory Mcumoro, a member of the State.
