C-Span caller interruptions inauguration with NCAA complaint

The caller who hilariously interrupted a political discussion on C-SPAN during President Trump's inauguration is going viral.

Just before 11 a.m. Monday, as cameras panned around the Capitol, members of the Trump administration and Cabinet were all smiling and awaiting the president's arrival.

At this point, a C-SPAN host received a call purporting to be from “Graham from Jersey City, New Jersey,” who identified himself as a Democrat.

“I feel a little disappointed for the selection committee.”

“Hello. I'd like to wish everyone a happy MLK Day. I hope you're all staying warm,” the person on the other end of the phone politely began.

The man went on to say, “I was a little disappointed with the outcome of the election. I think it was great to see a female president take office today.”

Who was on the phone at that time? revealed The real purpose of his call was to complain about college football.

“While I'm disappointed in the American people and their desire to see four more years of Trump, I'm a little more disappointed in the selection committee for not choosing the University of Alabama for the College Football Playoff Finals. I'm more disappointed that they chose a lesser team like SMU instead, 'and Indiana,''' the caller explained.

For some reason, without laughing, the caller concluded, “These are really dark times in America.”

The host quickly took offense to the comment and did not acknowledge anything the caller said.

“It's okay, Graham, there we are. We've got a photo of the president's hopeful cabinet.”

Alabama was ranked 11th in the nation, but was surpassed by Clemson, which ranked 16th.

In fact, Arizona State University, which was ranked 12th, received a bye in the first round of the College Football Playoff and rose to the fourth seed, but lost to Texas in the first round.

Viewers were also unconvinced about the origins of caller Graham, with one X user saying I'm saying “It was clear that he was not from New Jersey, and what was even more obvious was that he was not from New Jersey. [he’s] Not a democrat. ”

Another viewer joked that the caller was talking about “.”Wrong SEC” intentionally confusing college football's Southeastern Conference (played by the University of Alabama) and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Alabama fans appear to have gotten their revenge after lower teams Clemson and Arizona State lost to Texas in the playoffs.

However, Texas lost to Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl, and in his first national championship, Ohio State defeated Notre Dame 34-23.
