Carol Crist, President, University of California, Berkeley sent a letter Addressing the university’s camp, he paid tribute to the group for maintaining a “professional, organized and productive approach during extremely difficult times”.
After the prime minister’s letter was published, campus occupiers occupied the school building with the aim of “expanding into Gaza.”
Demonstrators occupied the building to take “revenge” against Al Shifa Hospital and to demonstrate their opposition to the dissolution of the official camp, citing “weak concessions”.
Christ promised the protesters that he would take action to meet most of their demands.
“I would like to once again pay tribute to your efforts to peacefully protest against the extraordinary death and destruction in Gaza. I’m concerned,” Christ said.
“I plan to issue a public statement by the end of this month expressing my personal support for the efforts of government officials to secure an immediate and durable ceasefire. “This support must not be confused with hatred or anti-Semitism,” she wrote.

The University of California, Irvine also saw its science building occupied on Wednesday.university issued Emergency notice warning of violent protests, warning students to stay away.
There were reports of a large police response involving multiple law enforcement agencies to gain access to the occupied buildings.
The occupation of the building came after far-left groups failed to maintain an encampment at the University of California, Los Angeles. The area’s removal comes with the promise of occupying other spaces on university campuses across the state.
