The Masters begins Thursday, but caddies will be forced to miss a unique tradition.
Tyrrell Hatton is playing at Augusta for the first time since joining LIV, but had to make a last-minute call because his caddy, Mick Donaghy, suffered a freak injury.
Mr Hutton said Mr Donaghy “fell down” after dinner on Sunday night and “heavily fell on his shoulders”.

“His reputation is an interesting one, so I don’t know how the fall actually happened,” Hutton joked.
His LIV and Ryder Cup teammate Jon Rahm couldn’t help but exclaim as he described the ordeal.
The Englishman said Donaghy would “spend the afternoon in hospital” and be out of commission “for the next month”.
“As far as I know he had some bad bone bruising so I’m glad he didn’t break anything,” Hatton added.
Hutton said one of his friends is scheduled to fly to Augusta to caddy this week, but the near future is still a little bleak.

Mr Hutton joined LIV in January, shortly after Mr Rahm joined. The 2020 Arnold Palmer Invitational winner will be playing at Augusta National for the eighth time in his career.

His best result at the Masters was T18 in 2021, won by Hideki Matsuyama by -10 (Hatton finished 9 strokes behind). His best result in a major tournament was a T5th place at the 2016 British Open Championship at Royal Troon, won by Henrik Stenson.
