Renowned Pacers fan Pat McAfee humorously dubbed Haliburton “Tyrese Halibigshot” in a post. Excited, he exclaimed in a video, “Let’s go, baby! 1-0 Pacers, 9.5 points dog. What are you going to do about it? We’re dancing!”
In response to the hype, 76ers point guard Tyrese Maxey simply tweeted “Amazing,” while Mavericks forward PJ Washington described the shot as a “Big Time Shot.”
The atmosphere in Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center was electric until the final buzzer, which left Thunder fans in stunned silence as the Pacers celebrated their victory.
