Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Seattle Storms guard Victoria Vivians were both called for double technicals after getting in each other’s faces during Thursday night’s game.
Opposing defenses have been focused on shutting down Clark, but she has started to get her shooting in order in the last few games.
In the second quarter on Thursday, Clark scored eight points over a span of about 3 1/2 minutes, including two long-range 3-pointers and a layup in between.
After a deep shot of the latter, she gets in Vivian’s face and the two start arguing with each other.
Clark was held in check by teammate Aaliyah Boston.
After Clark and Vivians were separated, Clark grinned and signaled the Fever crowd at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to cheer.

Clark and Vivians also had some tough clashes during the first quarter.
At halftime, the Storm led the Fever, 47-41.
