Caitlin Clark is already getting superstar treatment in Indianapolis.
The Indiana Fever selected Clark, the NCAA’s all-time points leader, with the first overall pick in last month’s WNBA Draft.
She’s only played in two preseason games, but she’s already a star in town.

Clark and several of his Fever teammates attended a playoff game between the Pacers and the New York Knicks in a suite Friday night.
After Tyrese Haliburton made a 3-pointer, the camera panned to Clark celebrating.
The Pacers entered the game trailing 2-0 in the series, losing both games at Madison Square Garden. Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle took much of the responsibility of officiating, sending 78 play clips to the NBA for review, including 49 from Game 2.

Clark’s superstar status at Indiana began quickly. Her jersey sales set a record for the highest sales ever for a Fanatics rookie.
Apparently Tim McGraw was one of the fans who got it. He wore Clark’s Fever jersey at a recent concert at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where both the Fever and Pacers play.
Clark dropped 21 points in her preseason debut, but her WNBA career officially begins Tuesday on the road against the Connecticut Sun.

Her first home game with the Fever will be Thursday against the New York Liberty, who lost to the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA Finals last season.
