Caitlin Clark breaks another record for the Indiana Fever.
He set the franchise rookie scoring record, previously held by Tamika Catchings.
Clark led the Fever with 28 points in a 100-93 win over the Dallas Wings on Sunday, including a 3-pointer with 3:13 to go in the first half for his record-breaking 595th career point.
Her record this season is 589. Former Lynx star Seymone Augustus holds the WNBA's all-time record with 744.
The Fever record was set in 2002 when Catchings played in 32 games that season for Indiana and scored a record number of points.
This is just the latest in a long line of records Clark has broken this season since being selected first overall in this year's WNBA Draft out of the University of Iowa.
In a year in which Catchings set the franchise rookie record, she also won WNBA Rookie of the Year.
Clark is averaging 18.4 points this season and shooting over 40% from the field, and it appears he is beginning to earn that recognition.
“When I walked in before the game, there were hundreds of fans lined up. What Caitlin Clark has given to baseball is generational,” Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman said during the broadcast. “As a fellow player, I just want to thank Caitlin Clark. Thank you to you and so many other great players for making our game of baseball so great.”

Clark's impact has not been forgotten by those who saw the huge crowds that packed into arenas to see him and the Fever perform.
Sunday's game was played in Dallas, and the win pushed the Fever's winning percentage over .500.
The trip to Dallas included Dallas-area sports talk host Tom Gribble (aka “Scoop Callahan”
In typical 1920s journalist fashion, Gribble would ask prank questions of athletes.
The joke didn't fly with Clark, and the spokesperson quickly asked a different question.
