Basketball superstar Caitlyn Clark hasn't messed around in his second year with the WNBA.
Clark's photo at this weekend's Big Ten women's basketball tournament showed the version of Hooper, who was clearly a hit with gym weights during the offseason.
“Well, someone is in the weight room,” one person wrote in X's post. This includes photos of the Iowa Hawkeyes cheering for Clark, who lost a 60-59 heartbreaker to Ohio State in Friday's quarterfinals.
The bulky Clark has fans excited online.
“The second year is going to be fun!” One person wrote it.
“They won't push her away next year.” The second commented.
“She's going to be bad this year.” Someone else rang.
Clark was one of W's biggest stars last season, but even telling reporters she was “working pretty hard in the weight room” during last season's Olympic break didn't stop her opponent from trolling her a bit.
“I'm small, but I'm trying to do my best I can,” she told reporters last August. “…I don't know, I think I'm careful and strong. I'm never going to be the strongest person. I know that. I try to put weight on and work hard in the weight room. Obviously, there are some limitations to it and there are obviously some things I can do during the season, but over the last three weeks or so, we've all been pretty hard in the weight room.”
Now it seems that Clark continues to bump into the weight.
Fever has been more than two months since the season's opening match against Angel Reese and Chicago Sky.
Clark is finishing his season in which he won the WNBA, averaging 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds.
Fever has added new head coach Stephanie White this offseason with Natasha Howard, Brianna Turner, Dewanna Bonner and Sophie Cunningham. This season could be a legal title contender for Indiana
