The violence against Caitlin Clark continues to escalate!
It was an action-packed weekend in the sports world, but one of the games that drew attention was Sunday afternoon’s match between Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever and Angel Reeseat Chicago Sky — a WNBA second-round showdown.
The third quarter was a little tense, as expected, when Reese hit Clark in the head while blocking and Clark’s hated rival was called for a flagrant foul. The Fever won. 91-83.

After the game, a reporter asked Reese about the lewd behavior, but the 22-year-old quickly interrupted.
“It was a basketball play. It was a basketball play.” Said Reese: “You can’t control the refereeing. The game tonight was obviously heavily affected by the refereeing.” (Related: WNBA Projects $50 Million Loss Despite ‘Caitlin Clark Effect’ and League’s Rising Popularity: Report)
And here’s the kicker: “Apparently some people have special whistles.”
Angel Reese said there were more foul calls for the Fever than for the Sky. “I think some people got the extra whistle,” she said. pic.twitter.com/fAbe4kW6gQ

What about Caitlin Clark?
Well, she decided to take the classy route that only Caitlin knows how to follow.
“It’s part of basketball, it can’t be helped. She was just trying to make a play with the ball,” Caitlin Clark said of Angel Reese’s flagrant 1 foul. pic.twitter.com/MOFsfAslNq
