Indiana Fever WNBA rookie star Caitlin Clark said she’s “not disappointed” about being left out of the U.S. Olympic team.
As Breitbart News reported this weekend, Kaitlyn Clark was not selected for the U.S. Olympic women’s basketball team, despite her impressive rookie performance and the harshest bullying she’s ever seen from other players. News of the oversight sparked a massive online fan backlash, but Clark does not share their disappointment.

“I’m excited about the performance of the girls on the team.” Clark said. “I know they’re the most competitive team in the world and I know it could have gone either way whether I was on the team or not,” he told reporters on Sunday. “I’ll be rooting for them to win the gold medal. I was a kid that grew up watching the Olympics, so it’ll be fun to watch them compete.”
“Honestly, I’m not disappointed. It just gives me a reason to work hard. It’s a dream. I hope I can be there one day. I guess it just gives me a little bit more motivation. Remember, I hope I’ll be there again in four years,” she added.
Indiana Fever head coach Christy Sides said the news of the neglect only emboldened Caitlin Clark even more.

“She said, ‘Coach, they woke up a monster,’ and I thought that was awesome,” Sides said. “She’s still young and I think she’s going to have a lot of opportunities in the future.”
