This January, fans were buzzing as Caitlin Clark and Taylor Swift were spotted at the Chiefs playoff game held at Arrowhead Stadium.
In a casual conversation with ESPN, Clark, who is gearing up for her second WNBA season with the Indiana Fever, shared her excitement just like any other NFL fan would.
“That night, we had a straightforward conversation, just like everyone else around us. She’s a huge Chiefs fan too — just like me. It’s fun to share that passion. Honestly, she’s as genuine as they come,” Clark remarked.
Longtime Chiefs enthusiast Clark caught attention when she was seen in a suite with Swift on January 18. They both cheered for Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, during the playoff game against the Texans, where Kelce scored a touchdown, helping the Chiefs secure a 23-14 victory.
Following the game, Clark excitedly spoke about her experience on a podcast, expressing how kind and relatable Swift is. “Taylor is super sweet and just down to earth, reminding us that even in our position, we’re just ordinary people enjoying life,” said the 23-year-old.
Swift’s presence at the game came just a month after wrapping up her successful ERAS tour, which had been a major hit for nearly two years. After the Chiefs bested the Texans, Swift was back supporting Kelce as they faced off against the Bills in the AFC Championship, which resulted in a close 32-29 win.
She then traveled to New Orleans for the Super Bowl 2025, where the Chiefs did not secure a win, falling to the Eagles 40-22.
Since that Super Bowl loss on February 9, Swift and Kelce have kept a relatively low profile. Recently, they were spotted in Philadelphia, celebrating Mother’s Day with their families.
Clark hinted at a potential plan to reunite with Swift at a future game, as the Indiana Fever are set to kick off their season against the Chicago Sky on Saturday.
Swift and Kelce’s relationship began in 2023 and seems to be going strong.
