Indiana Fever’s Kate Clark Out for the 2025 Season
Indiana Fever guard Kate Clark will be sidelined for the remainder of the 2025 WNBA season, as confirmed by the team on Thursday.
This season has been quite challenging for Clark, marked by injury setbacks. Her struggle intensified just before the All-Star break when she suffered a significant injury.
“Kate has been putting in a lot of effort during her recovery and is doing everything possible to get back on the court. Unfortunately, we’re running out of time this season,” said Amber Cox, COO and GM of the Fever. “We will continue to support her with all available resources. However, her long-term health and well-being are our top priorities.”
Cox also expressed hopes for Clark to fully regain her strength in time for the start of the 2026 season.
Clark has faced multiple injuries this season, suffering from severe bone bruises as she tried to recover. While she made progress and participated in shootarounds, she was unable to engage in full-contact practice.
This year, she played just 13 games, dealing with earlier issues before this more recent setback. During her time on the court, she averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, and five rebounds per game across 31.1 minutes.
Clark’s challenges are part of a broader struggle that has plagued the Fever roster throughout the season.
