Caitlin Clark’s dad sneaks snacks into March Madness Final Four

He may have been attending an NCAA Tournament game, but Caitlin Clark’s father decided to turn pro.

Her father, Brent, appeared to have snacks in his jacket pocket ahead of Clark’s Final Four matchup with the University of Iowa at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland.

When ESPN’s cameras cut to Clark’s family in the crowd, Brent could be seen munching on something and sticking his hands in the front pockets of his Iowa Hawkeyes gear.

Caitlin Clark’s father Brent apparently sneaked some snacks into the Final Four.

This isn’t the first time Clark’s father has appeared on TV this postseason.

Brent was seen visibly angry when Caitlin began taunting officials during Iowa State’s March Madness opener win over Holy Cross.

According to CBS Sports reporter Brad Crawford, on the same day in early March, Brent was heard saying, “Oh my god, get rid of her” after Kaitlyn committed an offensive foul while scoring 27 points. He said he heard it.

But on Friday night, women’s basketball fans praised the supportive father’s snack game.

“Caitlin Clark’s father played chess, not checkers, and brought his own snacks to the Iowa State game.” wrote one X user.

“Caitlin Clark’s father, who has the world’s least “parent who doesn’t want to pay for snacks at the stadium,” is making a move…” I wrote something else.

“Just when Caitlin Clark’s father thought he couldn’t get Big Dad’s energy up any more, the pregame coverage cut to a scene of Caitlin Clark fishing snacks out of his anorak hoodie. Absolute It’s a legend.” Another X user chimed in..

While Brent was having a snack in the stands, his daughter was held to just six points in the first half as Iowa trailed.
