Caleb Williams shares his challenging Lambeau Leap encounter with Packers fans.

Caleb Williams, the quarterback for the Chicago Bears, recently shared his thoughts about the fan base of their biggest rivals, the Green Bay Packers. During an interview, when asked about his most negative experiences with fans, he pointed to them without hesitation.

“Maybe Green Bay,” he stated. “I mean, they suck. After their game, where they won with Rambo, they celebrated by trying to leap into the crowd.” His comments suggest he isn’t a fan of the enthusiasm from the Packers’ supporters.

Williams mentioned the intensity of the Packers’ fans: “They just start throwing things at you and pushing. Rambo’s leap is no small feat; it’s a real jump, not just a little hop. And they get in your face.” It’s clear he has faced some tough interactions.

Reflecting on last season, the Bears began strong with a 4-2 record but then faced a grim streak, losing ten consecutive games. They finally broke their losing streak against the Packers at Lambeau Field in Week 18.

While discussing his performance, Williams noted he completed 21 of 29 passes for 148 yards and threw a touchdown in their recent win. Despite the ups and downs last season, there’s hopeful anticipation around him being the franchise quarterback fans have long yearned for.

Looking ahead, the Bears are set to face the Packers again on December 7 at Lambeau Field, followed by a home game on December 20. This rivalry continues to spark interest, as fans await their next encounter.
