Californians Wants Compromise, Not Confrontation, with Trump

The new poll shows California voters want to see their work with President Donald Trump.

California voters are less enthusiastic about fighting Donald Trump than the state’s political elite.

A double survey of California voters and political experts, which are pushing the state agenda, shows that voters are significantly more likely to want deterrent with the White House. Voters are also more divided on issues such as immigration and climate change. Gavin Govin Newsom and Democratic state lawmakers advocate for progressive ambitions to reject the president’s agenda.

Polls show that Democrats support taking on Trump, but voters are widely hoping that their representatives will lower temperatures. 43% of registered voters say their leaders are “too confrontational” and sentiment driven primarily by Republicans and independents. Several Democrats surveyed, 47%, wanted a more aggressive approach.

Newsom has signed a new $50 million spending to sue the Trump administration or provide legal representation to illegal foreigners, despite the state seeking $40 billion in wildfire relief from the federal government.
