Host of the podcast “Call Her Daddy” laughed In a report about how much the Harris campaign paid for the infamous set of interviews.
“Oh my god, that was great! But it wasn't that good.
Alex Cooper commented on the election in an interview with Andrew Ross Sorkin of The New York Times. Vice President Kamala Harris appeared on Mr Cooper's popular podcast, but was later ridiculed after the high cost of setting up the interview set was revealed.
“It's interesting,” Cooper said.
“I don't understand why my cardboard walls cost six figures when my gorgeous studio in Los Angeles costs six figures,” she laughs.
Sorkin asked her if she believed the campaign paid that much for the set.
“Absolutely not!” she cried. “Love to them! Oh my god, they were so gorgeous! But they weren't that great.”
The audience laughed at her comment, and she responded with an elaboration.
“It wasn't like some fancy marble! No, it wasn't a six-figure number!” she added.
Harris was ridiculed by some when she agreed to be interviewed on a podcast about sex and dating in New York. After a devastating election loss, the campaign faced further ridicule after the set's price was reported.
Although Ms. Harris failed to persuade voters with her podcast about her romance with Mr. Cooper, the Trump campaign's strategy is to win over male voters through appearances on President-elect Donald Trump's podcasts such as “The Joe Rogan Experience.'' has been widely praised. Much of the Republican Party's success in elections is explained by the gender disparity of the electorate.
Cooper's podcast gained popularity on Barstool Sports before landing a deal with Spotify that was reportedly worth $60 million. She has since signed The deal with SiriusXM is reported to be worth $120 million.
