Ferreira is said to have used a postal service key on June 28 to steal packages and envelopes from residents' locked mailboxes at their Van Cleck Street apartment in Elmhurst.
Prosecutors said Ferreira's DNA was left in U-Haul's airbags and she was caught with the help of the NYPD, the Postal Inspection Service and the Secret Service.
Meanwhile, Sablan of the Bronx was charged with criminal possession of forged musical instruments, stolen property, possession of robbery tools and illegal possession of 59 counts of personal identification.
A Queens judge ordered an order held without bail, although Sablan's bail was set at $30,000 in cash.
When he was killed, Opiera was “the prime minister of his life,” and his family wrote on the GoFundMe page, where he is gathering money for funeral expenses.
