Calls Them 'Troubling Times'

Former President Joe Biden delivered a rather troubling speech on Thursday, where he criticized both lawyers and the media. He also expressed strong feelings about how legal immigrants are treated, evoking memories of his somewhat notorious “Dark Brandon” persona.

Biden spoke at the National Bar Association’s Annual Conference in Chicago, mentioning that, “There are moments so severe that everything before seems to collapse around us. Perhaps this is one of those critical times.”

He went on to say that such moments compel us to confront “harsh truths about ourselves, our institutions, and even our democracy.” It was a reflective point—one that many might feel resonates deeply today.

Biden voiced concerns about a perceived deterioration of the American system’s integrity, remarking, “We’ve seen laws and even law firms that bend to the pressure, giving in to bullies, affecting justice itself, including some of the largest newspapers in the country.”

Watch – Some areas in the US have been “crushed” by Biden:

Biden also noted the “apparent joy” some politicians seem to display while observing negative events, particularly emphasizing the plight of legally residing immigrants who he feels have been unjustly separated from their families. “These individuals are being handcuffed and torn away from their only homes,” he explained.

“We can’t sugarcoat this. We are facing dark days,” he stated compellingly. “Our future is literally at stake.” It feels heavy, right? His message echoed sentiments from his earlier “Dark Brandon” address, where he responded to Trump’s critiques about his rhetoric, which were compared to language used in Nazi Germany.

Later, Biden labeled Trump supporters as “garbage” and even joked about the support he received, indicating that he views a portion of the populace as “not very good.”

See – We were led by “A complete idiot!” remarks JD about the Biden administration:

Biden aimed to embrace the meme-driven “Dark Brandon” image by posting a photo of a “secret sauce” drink before the 2024 discussions, promoting it as simply “100% water”—a curious choice for a campaign. But it’s worth noting that his attempts to present this persona have backfired in the past. Following a primetime speech in September 2022, the dramatic visuals, including him standing beside uniformed Marines with ominous red lights, led to significant backlash online. The phrase “Maga Republicans” being a “threat to democracy” didn’t sit well with many, including CNN anchor Brianna Keilar, who criticized the military imagery as inappropriate in that political context.
