Minnesota Vikings vs. Cleveland Browns: Game Highlights

The Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Browns faced off in London, and it was an interesting first quarter. Running back Cam Akers surprisingly opted to throw the ball. With just 2:37 remaining in the quarter, Akers rolled to the right, initially looking like he might run. Instead, he spotted tight end Josh Oliver wide open across the field and made the pass.

It turned out to be one of the simplest touchdowns the Vikings scored this season. That play tied the game, making it 6-6 after the extra point.

By halftime, Cleveland was leading 10-7.

Halftime Moments

The league also took a moment of silence for victims of a Yom Kippur terrorist attack in the UK prior to the second half.

The Vikings came into the game with a 2-2 record but were facing challenges at quarterback. Carson Wentz had entered the game due to JJ McCarthy’s absence, marking McCarthy’s third miss. However, Wentz struggled with shoulder issues and had to leave for the locker room early in the second quarter.

On the other hand, the Browns, who were at 1-3, were aiming to grab a much-needed win. They had sidelined veteran quarterback Joe Flacco and started Dillon Gabriel instead, while Shedeur Sanders remained third on the depth chart.
