Cam Newton reveals details of ‘contentious’ Shedeur Sanders encounter

Cam Newton said his interaction with Buffaloes quarterback Shedule Sanders was “debatable” before the University of Colorado's 48-21 win over Central Florida last Saturday.

In the video, Sanders could be heard saying, “I'm in a weird situation,” Newton told others who were on the field at the time.

In the latest episode of his podcast, Newton explained that he didn't blame the media for reporting something big because he was surprised, too.

That doesn't mean it's always right, and it doesn't mean it's wrong. I'm just telling the truth from what I know.
