Actor Julian Arnold died after suffering an emergency on stage during a performance of “A Christmas Carol.''

The 60-year-old performer suddenly collapsed during a performance at the Citadel Theater in Edmonton, Canada.
Paramedics arrived at the scene at 8:28 p.m. and attempted to resuscitate Arnold, but he was pronounced dead inside the theater.
The cause of death has not yet been determined.
Arnold played multiple roles in festival productions, including Marley, Mr. Fezziwig, and Banjo, and was also active as part of the ensemble.
said Citadel Theater Executive Director Jesse Van Rijn and Artistic Director Darryl Cloran. CBS News Arnold will be “very missed.”
“His presence brought joy, heart and depth to every role. His artistic contributions and big hugs will be sorely missed,” they said.
Following Arnold's death, loved ones and fans came together and raised approximately $40,000 to support Satanobe.
A cherished figure in the theater world, Arnold grew up in Edmonton and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Alberta in 1989. He then returned to his alma mater and earned a master's degree in directing in 2006.
