Candace Cameron Bure and Chris Pratt Call for Prayers as L.A. Wildfires Rage On

Film director and actress Candace Cameron Bure requesting Prayers for the Los Angeles area as firefighters battle deadly wildfires that have devastated the area region and tight resources. At least five wildfires are actively burning in Los Angeles County, where a combination of hurricane-force winds and unseasonably dry conditions has fueled the region. The two largest wildfires, the Palisades Fire and the Eaton Fire, have burned 17,234 acres and 10,600 acres, respectively, and are reported to be 0% contained. Forest Fire Department. “What we've seen here over the last 24 hours is unprecedented,” Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell said Wednesday, according to the Times. “I've never seen anything like this.”

Bure, a California native, is praying for divine intervention. Thousands of firefighters are working to extinguish the fire.

“Pacific Palisades, Altadena, Sylmar, and Sepulveda Pass are still combustion. I woke up in the same fire,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “Our sweet Palisades were destroyed. So Lots of memories. We pray that God will bring rain to Los Angeles. Thank you to all our firefighters and first responders. you're doing To protect people's safety and fight fires. You guys are true heroes. I have so many memories. ”
