Iconic '90s stars and longtime friends Candace Cameron Bure and Danica McKellar are bringing some holiday cheer this season.
Bure and McKellar kicked off their winter break with the first-ever Great American Family Christmas Festival at Northwell Park at USB Arena in New York. Bure will become chief creative officer of Great American Family Channel in 2022.
Dubbed the “Queen of Christmas Movies” by her fans, Bure has given her fair share of sweet kisses on screen during the holiday season. She spoke to Fox News Digital about her husband's reaction when she acted out romantic scenes and how it affected their marriage.

“I don't think it's ever more comfortable for anyone. Maybe if you're an actor who's married to another actor, even if it's just a peck or a kiss, you're not really comfortable with someone's spouse.” “It's never comfortable to see someone in your arms,” the “Full House” star shared.

However, the “Home Sweet Christmas” actress said her husband is “very supportive” and “proud” of all her projects.
“We have honest conversations. He's like, 'I don't really want to see that part,' 'I don't want to put you through that.' But…we work through those feelings. , we got to a place where we both felt good and supported each other through it.”
The “Wonder Years” star chimed in, agreeing that her husband “doesn't like” acting in romantic scenes either, and both actresses tend to “fast forward” or go to commercials when they come out. He said there is.
“I don't think it's ever more comfortable for anyone. It's never more comfortable to see your spouse in someone else's arms.”
McKellar has other ways to deal with it.

Bure married former NHL player Valerie Bure in June 1996. The couple has three children: Natasha, Lev and Maxim.
McKellar, who stars in Great American Family's Cinderella Christmas Ball, has a 14-year-old son, Draco, with ex-husband Mike Barta. She is currently married to lawyer Scott Svesloski, who also has a son from a previous relationship.

The two celebrity friends have bonded over their faith ever since Bure first took McKellar to church. McKellar said he had been listening to “Bible Summary” an hour before speaking to FOX News Digital, and said it had made a difference in his entire lifestyle.

“I don't know how I've been living my whole life…I don't know how I've been dealing with things,” McKellar said. “Here lies a peace that surpasses understanding.”
“I lead a stressful life…and have a relationship like this [with faith] That's what it's all about…I hope others have that joy too…One of the things I'm so excited about about Great American Family is that it's all about faith, family, and country. It's about…we can help people find that light. ”

Bure also appeared in “A Christmas Less Traveled'' with Eric Johnson and “Let it Snow'' with Jesse Hatch. She's been in the business of appearing in Christmas movies for over 10 years and shared with Fox News Digital her secrets to creating engaging holiday content.

“I love making these movies. I never imagined 15 years ago, when I made my first movie, that this would become such a huge genre for so many years,” she said.
“But I keep making them because people love them…People are so moved and make new traditions, whether it's new traditions they've created for their own families or after watching our films. , they feel like it means something to them, whether it's because they have a connection. In a way, it's meaningful.”

She added that she has received positive comments for her film A Christmas Less Traveled after her character discovers an old audio cassette containing a recorded message from her late father. .
Fans said the movie was “very emotional'' and “helped me through the holidays,'' while some viewers can relate to the story of their parents' deaths.
“That's why I keep making them,” Bure said.

She also noted that McKellar writes for Great American Family Media and appears in its films. McKellar is appearing in his 11th Christmas movie, the previous several of which were produced by Hallmark.
McKellar told Fox News Digital that he is “loyal” to former Hallmark CEO Bill Abbott of Great American Media.
“I really want to thank Bill for reviving my career… for making me a part of this genre of romantic comedies and Christmas romantics. [I’m] I am very grateful to him. I always do. ”
As Great American Family hosts its first-ever Christmas Festival, Bure detailed why the company chose to create this holiday experience.

“We've been dreaming of this for years. We wanted to create an environment where you could bring the whole family and experience Christmas. It's like being in one of our movies,” Bure told FOX. He told News Digital.
During the holiday event, festival attendees can take photos with Santa, go ice skating, and enjoy delicious food and games. Fans will also have the chance to meet talented people like Mario Lopez, who stars in “Once Upon a Christmas Wish.”
'Full House' star Dave Coulier diagnosed with 'very aggressive' cancer
Bure rose to fame as DJ Tanner on Full House, starring Mary-Kate, Ashley Olsen, Jodie Sweetin, John Stamos, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier.
Courier recently revealed that she was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She said they have remained close friends over the years and she speaks to him “almost every day.”

“He's one of my closest friends. He's family to me…this is shocking news,” she told FOX News Digital. “We are all very hopeful… We are praying and doing everything we can to support him…”
Full House co-star Stamos recently came under fire for choosing to stand in “solidarity” with his good friend Courier. The 61-year-old posted a photo on social media wearing a bald cap alongside Courier, who preemptively shaved his head before cancer treatment began.
Bure said he was “surprised” by the fans' voices. criticized the photo.
