A Christmas market in eastern Germany was thrown into chaos after a car plowed into a group of people.
More than 20 people were injured in a suspected terrorist attack at a peaceful Christmas market in the eastern German city of Magdeburg on Friday, German news agency Bild said.

It is unclear at this time whether there were any fatalities in the incident, which appears to be a terrorist attack.
The driver of the car was arrested, the agency said.
