Cardi B expressed feeling “under threat” following her estranged husband Offset’s recent doubts about the paternity of her baby with Stefon Diggs.
“You all think it’s so funny, but it’s not,” she shared in a now-deleted tweet. “It’s been over a year, and I continue to be harassed and threatened to the point where I fear for my life. It’s all fun and games until it’s too late.”
Cardi added, “Manufacturers will do anything for attention, so just one upload can be really harmful…leave it alone, for real.”
Later, during a discussion on Spaces, Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almanzar, opened up about her harassment experiences. “I’m really tired of being harassed. When you ignore private harassment, it spills over into public,” she explained.
“I have all the receipts. If you keep sending me awful blogs harassing me, I can’t take it anymore,” the 33-year-old rapper emphasized.
This situation follows a post that Offset, 33, shared on his Instagram Stories after Cardi gave birth to her fourth child last week. The message seemed to reference the newborn son of Cardi and Diggs.
“Sometimes I lie in bed and think, ‘This is not normal.’ I watch crime documentaries… Online, I notice women being murdered every other day,” she reflected. Page Six reached out to Offset’s representative for comment but has yet to receive a reply.
Last summer, it was reported that Cardi filed for divorce from Offset for the second time after nearly seven years of marriage. They have three children: Kulture, 7, Wave, 4, and Blossom, 1. Offset also has three children from previous relationships.
Since their separation, the former couple has had a turbulent relationship but has been in touch on social media. Earlier this month, Cardi gave birth to her son with Diggs, months after their relationship was made public in May.
Offset has his own parenting challenges, as it’s recently come to light that he is also the father of Eileen Lopera’s daughter, Charlie, who was born in April.
