Carmen Electra expresses her willingness to date again following her return to Playboy

Recently, Carmen Electra shared that she’s considering diving back into the dating scene after making a return to Playboy magazine. It’s been three decades since her first appearance, and now, at 54, she reflects on her experiences, including a memorable moment from “Baywatch,” published again in the Summer 2026 issue, currently available.

In the magazine, Electra posed in eye-catching fishnet stockings and addressed fans’ burning questions about romance. Yet, it’s not solely about doling out advice; she’s eager to embrace her own romantic adventures.

Electra expressed, “I’m still drawn to men with an edge, but I’m open to the more dad-like types too.” In a conversation with FOX News Digital, she recounted an unusual dating experience where her ex-boyfriend was a father and how that relationship gave her a different perspective. “It didn’t pan out, but I think it’s possible for people with and without kids to connect.”

Having walked down the aisle twice, Electra’s past includes a brief marriage to Dennis Rodman in 1998, which ended just days later, before eventually divorcing in 1999. In 2003, she wed Dave Navarro, a member of Jane’s Addiction, but their relationship also concluded with a divorce in 2007.

Now, when it comes to love, Electra feels there are no boundaries. “The guy doesn’t necessarily need to be a father. Maybe he could be younger. Honestly, I’m not sure who that would be yet. I’m focused on working hard and making my own money. I’m not seeking anyone rich; that’s not what I’m after. Just a good person with shared interests would suffice,” she shared.

She further elaborated on relationships by saying, “I find it fascinating how opposites attract. Sure, you want some common ground, but difference can really be enriching.” Electra has never shied away from expressing her feelings about love, even tattooing the word on her wrist as a reminder.

Reflecting on her relationship with love, she said, “I’ve always thought deeply about it. If more people embraced love, imagine how much brighter the world would be.” She is also grateful for the support from her social media followers through the years.

Electra noted her confidence doesn’t stem from conventional beauty ideals; rather, it’s about being busy and fulfilled in her work. “Honestly, I feel most confident when I’m immersed in my projects. The more I work, the more I blossom,” she stated.

Back with Playboy, she advises women against succumbing to aging stereotypes. “Don’t buy into the idea that aging means fading away,” she urged. “You live your life for yourself, not for others. Embrace your beauty and worth every day.”

In conclusion, she emphasized the importance of maintaining your youthful spirit, sharing a personal insight from reading about Buddhism and the value of keeping one’s inner child alive. Electra firmly believes that people are drawn to authenticity and will appreciate you for who you are.
