Veteran Democratic strategist James Kerrville insisted in an episode of Thursday’s “Political War Room” podcast that Democrats are better if “people like Bernie Sanders and AOC” no longer define it.
Kerrville argued that Democrats have candidates who are “surprisingly talented” than Senator Bernie Sanders (D-Vt.) and House Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
Meanwhile, Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez have gained influence through their “Combodia Oligarchy” tours across the country, and soon became the faces of the progressive wings of the Democrats.

Ocasio-Cortez is still unaware of the president’s ambitions, but he is the founder of FiveThirtyeight and many well-known politicians Paul Starnate Silver, She predicts that she will become a Democratic candidate in the 2028 election.

The 80-year-old Democratic strategist highlighted the party’s deep talent pool.
“The Democrats have real depth and talent, they’re the kind of people who can get them on the field, they’re the ones who see them, and the people like Bernie Sanders and the AOC don’t define who the party is, and we’re going to be better,” Kerrville argued.
Kerrville invited Ocasio-Cortez and Sanders to run halfway through the White House in 2028, but insisted that Democrats had far more “talented” candidates to run.
“If AOC wants to run for president or vote for her name, come on her, Bernie Sanders, you want to run twice, twice. Maybe he wants to take the third time. I’m sure that’s fine.

Tensions between Carville and Ocasio-Cortez are simmering, especially after a spat that grew up last month after Kerrville claimed he had a “preaching woman” problem with the party.
“My suspicion is that there are too many preaching women,” Kerrville said in an interview with a New York Times columnist on the self-defeating message he claims to be common in his party. “‘Don’t drink beer, don’t watch soccer, don’t eat burgers. This isn’t good for you.”
He continued: “The message is too feminine. “Everything you do is destroy the planet. You have to eat peas.”
“Maybe he should start a podcast about it,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote in X’s post. “I heard that men are really underrated in that space.”
