Cash Up founder Bob Lee had been 'aggressive' and erratic towards drug-fueled criminals in the days before he was murdered, says his murder suspect's attractive sister He testified at the trial.
“He was all over the place. Aggressive,” Hazar Eliasnia said on the third day of the stand on Tuesday.
“Cocaine and ketamine. He was definitely under the influence,” the 38-year-old man said days before the April 4, 2023 murder, when Lee, 43, met his girlfriend at 5 a.m. to do drugs. He said while remembering how he came to his apartment.
Eliasnia, who is said to have had an affair with Lee during a sex-filled social scene, said she believed Lee had been up all night drinking and doing drugs. According to Court News Service.
Her brother, Nima Momeni, 40, is accused of stabbing Lee to death in the early hours of April 4.
Prosecutors allege that Momeni sexually assaulted his sister and stabbed Lee to death, believing he had provided her with drugs.
But Mr Eliasnia said any allegations of an affair with Mr Lee, let alone assault by Mr Lee, were false.
“LOL, you idiot, Bob didn't touch me, no one ever did,” she wrote in a text to her brother shortly after Mr Lee's murder, the court heard on Monday.
But an earlier text message the day before the murder suggests something more sinister.
“I'll get the tank, but you'll have to pay for the blow job,” Lee texted Eliasnia, who is married, referring to nitrous oxide, a commonly used party drug known as whippet.
But Ms. Eliasnia denied that Mr. Lee had any serious sexual overtones, insisting that he only acted inappropriately from time to time.
Later that night, Eliasnia met up with Lee at the drug dealer's house, and after Lee left Eliasnia testified that she believed the dealer had drugged her and sexually assaulted her.
Her brother and husband picked her up at the dealer's house, and in the car on the way home they told her what had happened.
“Did you mention Bob Lee anywhere in that conversation?” asked Momeni's lawyer Saam Zangeneh, according to Courthouse News.
Her sister answered, “No,” adding that she had never told her that her brother Lee had done anything to her.
Mr Momeni's defense argued that Mr Lee attacked Mr Momeni with a knife while dangerously intoxicated, and that Mr Lee was stabbed during the scuffle.
The two had hung out together the day before — Eliasnia even said they “loved each other” — but they didn't meet for an hour after leaving their downtown San Francisco apartment together in the early hours of April 4. A short time later, Lee appeared several blocks away with fatal stab wounds. And immediately there was blood.
Eliasnia has thrown the trial into chaos since taking the stand for the first time last Thursday.
Despite Momeni's defense attorneys openly admitting to killing Lee, Eliasnia began testifying and maintained that he did not kill Lee.
The story of the drug-fueled, sexual San Francisco social gathering she and Lee participated in (known as “The Lifestyle”) also drew the ire of Lee's ex-wife, Krista Lee. The defense claims they called Eliasnia a “high-minded prostitute.” tower,” According to KRON4.
His ex-wife told reporters outside court on Tuesday that Eliasnia was trying to make himself a victim in the case.
“She can fuck herself,” Lee said.
