Cassy Ventura Shares Past Suicide Attempt and More Abuse from Diddy on Second Day of Testimony

On the second day of the trial involving Sean “Diddy” Combs, his former girlfriend, Kathy Ventura, recounted incidences of alleged violence against her. Her testimony began with a recounting of a troubling event from 2018 in Los Angeles, where she claimed Combs assaulted her after stating he wanted to end their relationship.

She described a dinner with Combs intended to bring closure, but he allegedly dismissed her plea to escort her home afterward. Ventura also detailed a disturbing “freak-off” party that left her feeling “humiliated” and emotionally scarred.

Continuing her testimony, she revealed that her experiences led to a “terrifying flashback” and a suicide attempt in 2023, triggered while she was filming a music video. She shared with her husband:

She attempted to leave through the front door, saying her husband stopped her.

When asked by the prosecution about how many similar parties she attended, Ventura replied, “It’s impossible to know. Hundreds?” She also spoke of witnessing Combs physically assault a friend and claimed he attacked her after learning of her brief romance with rapper Kid Cudi.

Another troubling instance occurred in 2007. Ventura alleged that after witnessing Combs flirt with someone during dinner, he violently assaulted her in the car on the way home.

“He was knocking me and just hitting me,” she said, expressing confusion over his intense anger.

Moreover, Ventura recounted how Combs allegedly threatened her by showing footage from a party aboard a flight to New York in 2013, aiming to embarrass her further.

During questioning, prosecutor Emily Johnson asked if Combs was present when the video was played.

“I was afraid of my career. I was afraid of my family. It’s just embarrassing. It’s scary and disgusting. You shouldn’t do that to anyone,” she stated.
