The election is just around the corner. So, win or lose, do you know what time it is?
Recently at a Turning Point USA “Pick Up the Mic” event held at the University of Texas at San Antonio, a young woman approached the microphone, fully intent on making her voice heard, whether or not the audience was ready for it.
When the social compact disintegrates, political discussions evolve beyond mere politics. Spiritual battles become evident in those exchanges.
This was her “poem”:
It was the night before the Kirkiversary, and all through the house.
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The flags were hung proudly.
The memes all on deck, as we solemnly remembered a shot to the neck.
The podcast fell silent.
The hot takes grew wary, for tomorrow, dear friends, is the great Kirkiversary.
So I’ll see everyone at the Squirt for Kirk.
We’re hosting that also on October 10th.
I’ll see y’all there to BYOE, you know, vaccines included, s**t’s free. See y’all there.
When Christian Collins, the host, asked if she felt proud, she replied with enthusiasm, “Baby, I’m thrilled.” Then she complimented him on being “brave for being out here,” with “no protection, no nothing, no, like, neck brace.”
She came prepared with her poem, knowing full well that cameras would be rolling. She seemed confident that there would be no repercussions for her little stunt. However, she had no issue acknowledging the potential consequences that someone like Collins might encounter.
This is because when the social fabric tears apart, political discussions turn into something much deeper. Spiritual warfare becomes evident in those discussions. What unfolds in the unseen world makes its way into our reality.
Egypt once stood as a central hub of darkness, holding God’s people captive. It raises a question: why did God opt for ten plagues to exert His power over His adversaries instead of using countless other methods? To discern the nature of our Heavenly Father, in whose likeness we are created, we should really ponder this.
During Moses’s time in the culture war, those plagues were direct judgments against the false deities of Egypt. God systematically addressed each one, leaving nothing untouched. The message was clear: God is God, and you are not.

So when Moses urged Pharaoh, “Let my people go,” he wasn’t just another political figure; he was delivering a spiritual message. We, too, must confront the challenges we face today.
The evil that inspired that young woman’s performance is not of this world. The darkness required for such proud displays is sociopathic. She acted as if she and her demons were the true sovereigns, asserting control over you. Some say the devil’s cleverest trick was convincing everyone he doesn’t exist. But that’s not the case. He craves worship like the one true God, and he desires to impose his own twisted “order” — on his own schedule and terms.
That moment is now, as the young woman’s confidence almost conjures an image of blood on her lips while she casts shadows over the land. She, too, acts as a spiritual herald. Right there, in front of you.
Even the most effective political movements struggle against such a profound conviction rooted in darkness. They don’t stand a chance. Even if you eliminated her today, she is still present. She lurks around every corner, reaching even into classrooms. Her malevolent ideology excels at crafting devoted followers. But what about our own?

Are we close to a point where enough people are willing to confront this darkness — more eager to endure hardship for their beliefs than to remain comfortable and engage in interfaith dialogues with those who worship Baal? What, Mr. Nicer Than Jesus, did you not realize this was a battle?
That’s one reason you’re losing, chuckles Nefarious.
This must originate from the church, where individuals are eager to act on the Word, not just listen to it. And Michigan pastors aren’t leaving the weighty preaching about the threats of Islam solely to the campaign addresses of RFK Jr.
Will we position ourselves as spiritual heralds? Will we remind everyone of the true order of creation? We have MAGA and MAHA. Are we prepared, willing, and capable of Making America Christian Again?
